I handle cases on a contingent fee basis, meaning that I am only paid a fee if and when all or part of your disability claim is actually awarded. My fee is 25% of any past due/retroactive benefits, meaning the benefits accrued in any months that you are found to be eligible for benefits before your claim was ultimately approved. This fee amount cannot exceed $6,000 per SSA’s regulations. The fact that my fee is based entirely on past due/retroactive benefits means that any monthly benefits you receive after your claim is approved will not be touched by my fee. The same goes for any auxiliary benefits (for qualifying dependents) associated with your claim.
